Dream Patrol challenges are a great way to test one’s combat skills inWuthering Waves. Each region in Rinascita has a number of Dream Patrol challenges and players can complete them all to get Astrite and other in-game rewards. And to make it more challenging, each Dream Patrol has different requirements to get the full marks of each stage.

In Penitent’s End, there are 4 Dream Patrol challenges to be uncovered. By uncovering and completing them, not only will itincrease the player’s Exploration Progressin said region, but will also grant some rewards for the efforts.

How to Unlock Dream Patrol Challenges in Penitent’s End

Dream Patrol at Penitent’s End inWuthering Wavesdoes not automatically unlock by itself once players reach this region. Instead, Rovers need to complete a quest called’Quest of Faith’that requires them to fight Tacet Discords with the help of Macare Torch.

Teleport to Figurehead’s Shrine’s south Resonance Beacon and walk towards the arena with broken pillar in the middle. At the edge of the arena, there is a shining spot with a prompt to’Examine the etchings on the ground.‘Interact with the prompt to spawn an enemy and the player’s objective is toattack the Tacet Discordwithin the firelight of Macare Torch to defeat it.

After the battle ends and Rovers interact with the shining item in the middle of the arena, the quest will start and players can follow the navigation to reach different arenas and fight more enemies. While each battle will take a long time because they need to be defeated around Macare Torch, it’s worth the time as each arena will reward players with treasure chests. Once the whole quest is finished, check Exploration Progress in Penitent’s End and the Dream Patrol section should be available for Rovers to view.

The first Dream Patrol challenge at Petinent’s End inWuthering Wavesis located at the exact same arena where players started the Quest of Faith before. Teleport toFigurehead’s Shrine’ssouth Resonance Beacon and walk northeast to the pillar in the middle of the arena. There are 3 objectives for this challenge and Rovers need to complete them all to get the rewards:

This challenge is repeatableas many times and players want, and it will spawn waves of different enemies as long as the time limit doesn’t reach 0.

The second Dream Patrol in Penitent’s End can be seen south ofFool’s Elysium. From the previous Dream Patrol spot, Rovers can continue heading west until they reach this area for another challenge. This time, the objectives for full rewards are:

The 3 objectives are different unlike the first Dream Patrol, so it’s best to complete it one by one. The first one is recommended to be the ‘perform 4 dodges’ as players only need to keep an eye out on the enemies’ movement and avoid it 4 times. Next is interrupting Fae Ignis' charging phase, which is attacking them when players can see their tail turn to player’s direction and flames start erupting from the tail. And the final objective is reaching Battle Rank SSS by defeating the enemies as fast as players can.

Penitent’s End Dream Patrol Challenges Location 3

Teleport to Resonance Nexus inPetinent’s Endand head north towards a small camp with Hocus Pocus and Cuddle Wuddle Echoes at the front. This Dream Patrol’s objective is as follows:

The first two objectives are relatively easy to follow, and Rovers only need to pay attention to defeating the 3 Hocus Pocus first before targeting Cuddle Wuddle who has a larger HP pool.

The last Dream Patrol atPenitent’s End inWuthering Wavesis located south ofThe Strand. Use the Resonance Beacon near The Strand and head southeast to the Dream Patrol icon near the shore to start the challenge. This time, the objectives to get all the rewards are:

Make sure to complete them one by one and observe the indicator on the left side to see which objectives Rovers have completed. The first objective players should aim for is using Resonance Liberation Damage to defeat 3 enemies. There are many mobs with different HP pools here, so it’s best to use a DPS character with high Burst damage from their Resonance Liberation, like Jinshi or Camellya.
