HoYoverse has also frequently expanded its pre-existing groups, with new members coming for factions like the Sons of Calydon and the Hollow Operations Special Response Team. Now, a heavily rumored character is seeing some major in-game leaks.
Zenless Zone Zero Teases New Character Hugo’s Animations
A newZenless Zone Zeroleak shared by leaker Donut is showing off theattack animations for unconfirmed new character Hugo. The video gives players their first look at Hugo’s weapon, carrying a briefcase that quickly shifts into a scythe as he launches into sweeping attacks. The leak also features plenty of smaller flashy animations giving Hugo an epic feel to his attacks, with his jacket and long ponytail swaying in the wind with his movements. An officialplayable release date for Hugohas not been confirmed by HoYoverse.
Though HoYoverse has not yet confirmed Hugo’s official release, the character has already made multiple early appearances inZenless Zone Zero. Hugo appears alongside fellow rumored playable character Vivian during Version 1.5’s “The Day of Brilliant Wishes” event, connected tothe new Bangboo-focused event. Hugo is also teased during the Agent Story for Version 1.0 S-Rank character Lycaon, hinted to potentially be a vampire character from his pointed ears and fangs.
Zenless Zone Zero’s plethora of upcoming characters are also expected to be joined by more repeat appearances from past roster members. Version 1.5 introduced the first rerun banners to the urban action RPG, with both Ellen and Qingyi made available on the limited gacha banner once again. Ellen’s reappearance after beingZenless Zone Zero’s first limited character also sawa new Agent Story for Ellenbeing added to the game alongside her rerun banner.Zenless Zone Zero’s playable roster looks set to grow even larger with plenty of exciting characters on the way soon.
